Celabe (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our app and services, including data related to your wedding and event planning, photos, and vendor interactions.
2. Data We Collect
We may collect account information (email, name, profile details), event and wedding details (dates, preferences, budgets, guest lists), photos and videos you upload, and usage data to improve our AI and services. All data is encrypted in transit.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide and personalize the app, power our AI assistant, connect you with vendors, and improve our product. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. AI Assistant & Third-Party AI Provider
Celabe includes an optional in-app AI assistant that helps answer your event-planning questions. When you choose to use it, the messages you type or speak are sent through Celabe’s servers to Groq, Inc. (“Groq Cloud”), a third-party AI service based in the United States, which generates the reply. We send only your message text and conversation context — we do not send your name, email, photos, or account details. Groq processes this data under its own privacy policy, available at groq.com/privacy-policy. We disclose this and ask for your consent in the app — identifying Groq by name — before any message is sent, and you can decline and still use the rest of Celabe.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. See our Delete Account page for instructions. After deletion, we anonymize or remove your personal data; some aggregated or anonymized data may be retained as permitted by law.
6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at carson@celabe.com to exercise these rights.
